Australia is forcing all of its ISPs to put internet filters in place. These filters will slow down our already disgustingly slow internet speeds by 30-40%, making conducting any innovative or online business damn near impossible. Myself and partner, and some of our friends, all as innovators and small business owners, are currently exploring options to move overseas. It’s a black day for Australia: not only are they instituting a level of fascist censorship that is uncalled for, they are forcing local talent and local money to go elsewhere. It’s such a bad idea that, for once, words fail me.
