The 2016 edition of Music Journalism 101 is the audiobook. Narrated by me, the author.

Yes, this is actually a thing. I’ve been promising it for years, just like I was promising the hardcopy book for years.

This week the thinking started to turn into reality. Work is already under way, and pretty soon I’ll come to a deal with a studio and a producer!

I’m so excited about this, you have no idea.

How to get the audiobook… or get your music on it

You can send me a message if you want to be notified when it’s available. OR if you’re excited about it, then you can contribute to the recording and release. If you donate some cash, you’ll get copies of it for free, in your choice of actual files, or actual hard copy (or if you donate more than $5, both). All people who donate will be publicly thanked. Of course. 🙂

And if you’re in a band and you’ve got sections of some killer tracks you want in between chapters, email me.

The recording itself will cost about $300 for the studio time. Costs in post-production are unknown at this stage, but I’ll publish them here as they emerge.
